There seems to be a constant stream of construction works in Brisbane – all with hoardings surrounding them. The hoardings are like message boards. They hold posters and graffiti and marks from various human activities. This was my jumping off point for this work. I took photos of building hoardings and transcribed marks as if they were elements within environments. I created scenarios within cells where these marks interact to tell stories.
