We don’t really know where technology will take us – for the good or bad. We just take risks. Sometimes I’m appalled by this, and sometimes I’m inspired. The giant Hadron Collider will someday be much smaller (I imagine,) and then will we bring it into our homes behind arches and screens to… make stars?
