The Winery at Mount Cotton, is my nod to an excellent example of Queensland architecture. Set high on a hill at Mount Cotton near Brisbane, with the vines all trimmed for the next season’s vintage, the whole scene shone in the afternoon sun.
The style is simplistic. Just express the WHOLE shape, the colour and the reflections for pure enjoyment, that was my note to self.
The still life on the post is for focus, but absolutely relevant. The heavy charcoal outline was added purely as an interesting and frivolous “shadow enhancer”. And if you look close enough you can see the brand on the bottle as well as on the grape vines. Cheers
