Meet the gorgeous George. He lived a bit of a charmed life as a house yard lawn mower, rose trimmer…or rather eater….haha, and pet. He was very loved, when not devouring the prize roses, or any new shrub planted and was occasionally social with the numerous poddy calves around the house. I had to paint him to capture his gorgeous nature and chattiness when I would visit my sisters farm. Painted in oils using quite bold marks to capture his essence on canvas.
