Sometimes you just have to let your imagination get the better of you! Is this a seascape-landscape or a landscape-seascape? I'm not sure.
You see, I was looking for something that had an abstract feel to it. And I found a photo that, for me, 'fitted the bill.'
So i set about re-configuring and generally mucking around with it 'til it fitted the parameters of my canvas.
But here's the thing. When I started painting I found that I followed my imagination and made the whole thing up!
I've called it Taputapu which, as you all know, is Maori and means 'Sanctuary.'
