I love my garden, I love depicting blooms in my art… and who doesn’t love hydrangeas?
With this work I wanted to capture how these blooms age beautifully into rusts and golds.. arguably as good as the fresh blooms perhaps?! The artwork take on a stylised feel, with layered texture on the blooms, and contrasting with the translucency of the leaves.
