The 1950s spawned a subculture garbed in the obligatory leather jacket and jeans of the teenage motorbike toughs of that era, styled after Marlon Brando’s Wild Buch or the early Elvis/Grease fashions. Bravo and social discord were common. Later, in the UK, rival groups termed the “Mods” (taking somewhat after the Beatles) engaged with the former in street gang incidents
