Using mixed media I wanted to depict the incredible connection between horse and rider as they strike the ball with the mallet. Capturing the movement of the moment and follow through swing of the mallet as they move in unison.The original painting is 76cmx61cm on a stretched canvas . I like to use texture within the background to create interest and movement upon the surface. The horse is stunning and the colours very earthy in tone.
