Description
It’s amazing really. One can evolve but still stay the same. This is number fifteen, the penultimate piece in the On the Box Series and like I said, it is the same but very different. The taubmans paint box is still there as solid and as strong as ever, preventing my objects from drifting off into the next dimension. But he looks to be losing the battle as the Lambrusco bottle is starting to bend. We all know where that is leading don’t we?
Colour representing shade and light. I started that way and we are here now and it’s STILL the same.
The airbrush in both this piece, number fifteen and number sixteen shone brightly and the airbrushed outlines were a testament to not only a skilled hand but a hand and an airbrush in complete harmony. It’s a pleasure to view.
You will even notice some “airbrush only” stenciling for the lace wallpaper on the wall behind, that is a tribute to all the automotive airbrush artists back in the day. As is the fish scale one too. Cheers
