The second in a series of three acrylic paintings for an exhibition dedicated to my sister and father. My sister and I as little girls shared a love of growing plants and flowers. Whether in the garden or in pots. It was my sister who introduced me to the lilium family and in the beginning I had difficulty growing them, but now I grow them very successfully and they add beautiful splashes of colour to my garden.
