Creating the illusion of vast, atmospheric distance stretching back behind my subject is a challenge I adore. As a painter, I have a silent, static medium, and yet creating paintings full of life and movement is the challenge I love the best. I have combined our Australian native Banksias and Kangaroo paws against a misty background, creating a contemporary trompe l’oeil for your walls.
