These ‘wild’ flowers were along every fjord during our Norwegian summer holiday…  completing every stunning scene perfectly. I’ve now learnt that these beauties are steeped in folklore: fairies are believed to shelter within the bells- I can totally believe it!
They are planted around homes to invite the fairies and to help protect against peril.

To see them in such profusion, in such a beautiful place, left a mystical, magical impression that will stay with me forever!
