Her song “”And a Land Cries Out”” is about the constant heart wrenching battle between making a living, protecting and raising your family on a land you love, whilst keeping the banks off your back. The lyrics resonate with me as I grew up on the land, a farmer’s daughter…. I also hear the cry of nature as our world heats up, as humans strip the land and habitats are lost…. I hope you sense Sara and my message as you soak up her song and this artwork. Where’s my little family gone?
