I live and work from my home base in the beautiful Northern New South Wales, Australia.
I love creating soulful fine art that is infused with symbology and meaning, and it brings me great joy when clients find a painting that speaks to their heart and soul. My works are held in private collections around Australia, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom.
I began my working career in Accounting and Finance and I worked in this arena for 20 years. I picked up my first paint brush in 2002, and what started as a desire to learn to paint has turned into a lifelong passion.
While in a painting class In 2002, I was inspired to paint a large Buddha piece. From the moment I picked up my brush, it felt like someone else was guiding my hand, and I could clearly see a face in the blank canvas. I spent years developing and understanding this experience. I have since journeyed with this presence through major illness, family separation/divorce, and have been blessed with the knowing, that even when things seem really bad, we are never alone.
Through painting, I found a new voice and discovered a profound connection to the spiritual realms. As a young child, I was shy and quiet, as I suffered with a speech impediment. To experience the joys of painting, as an adult, has been truly special.
Over a period of 13 years I spent time studying, developing and sharing my work. I painted part-time around family and work commitments before launching full time into my creative business in 2015. Founded to share my deep love for painting and to inspire my children to always follow their passions.
My art is an expression of a beautiful energy and guiding force. Every element of a painting is spiritually symbolic and infused with meaning, as visions and visceral feelings are imbued in the essence of the work.
