Jan Honey

I have been developing my art skills on a journey that has so far, taken 30 years. I spent three years studying at both the Auckland Technical Art Institute and at the Cox Art School studying drawing, painting and life drawing.

After a bout of ill health in 1993, I returned to a series of self-expression oils and watercolour in a contemporary style, doing weekly lessons over a two year period. I also did workshops with Donald Waters, Trevor Pratt and John Davidson among others. 

I attended the southern university of Toowoomba over two years to re-establish my Art.

My style is still developing and I continue to grow as an artist despite the health challenges life has thrown at me.
