She sat alone in the cold on the staircase just outside the post office. She had built a small fortress around her with broken cigarette lighters. A ragged coat and torn gloves were all she had left to shield her from the storm. The passers-by would often point and laugh. No one was allowed in. She would chase you away if you tried. Sometimes when I walked by, she would call out to me, but I didn’t understand. I didn’t speak her language. One snowy day I passed by her fortress, and she invited me in. She gave me an unlit match and rubbed my cold hands in her own. We sat together holding hands on the staircase, small lighter fluid soldiers protecting us from the storm. I still didn’t speak her language but oh, how we laughed and waved as the people passed us by in the street below.

The ability to activate your camera in a browser is currently supported by Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera, in both their desktop and Android versions. It is supported by Apple's Safari browser, version 11 and higher. Microsoft’s Internet Explorer has yet to add support for this functionality.
