Her art career has been as diverse and varied as her artwork. Starting as a photographic stylist and freelance graphic designer, Kirsten moved into stained glass. She founded an interior design architectural lighting studio while pursuing an interest in glass blowing.
As an artist Kirsten is constantly exploring and inventing, using diverse mixed media to tackle different genres of expression, her work is playful and thoughtful at the same time.
“I want to combine the magic of childhood, with the maturity of an enquiring mind. Each artwork is a story, that the viewer can immerse themselves in. I consider myself a visual author rather than an artist”
Kirsten is currently the Artist in Residence at 2 separate primary schools in Brisbane and is writing and illustrating her own children’s book
