Dream into Being

I recall at the age of 13 sitting down with a large piece of paper and crayons and spending a few hours creating a detailed, mirror image, geometric design, and when completed I realized I had found my voice, my expression of my inner landscape of thoughts, feelings, experiences and dreams. Having grown up in many different countries and diverse cultures I had found a way to harmonise my outer and inner impressions. Continuing to travel most of my life I can now see this is an essence of Dream Into Being creations.

Having left school at an early age I did not complete any formal training in art, and actually I’m grateful I didn't!  I feel in many ways less education has allowed me more space and freedom within my creative expression to just paint from my inner-sense, beyond the intellectual understanding and education of art.

Ever since that day when I was 13 I have painted from imagination, from what I see within, or from the right brain.  I have come to trust my seeing and go about dreaming into being onto canvas all the form, colours and dimension from a place of receptivity to my imagination and its natural unfolding.

For the last 6 years I have been a full time artist and have been creating and specialising in commissioned customised imagery as original business logos, murals and original art.  I also facilitate retreats to teach others how to access and paint from imagination and their natural creative capacity.

At the heart of it, Dream Into Being inspires to ignite the remembrance of the language of imagination and images, and the power images as art can have to transform and move us beyond into a deeper quieter place within ourselves and in our day to day lives.
