Claire Rackley

Claire Rackley is a Brisbane-based artist, best known for her bold resin panels and her bright acrylic canvases. Claire’s art is about reflection and to find calm in life’s chaos. The heavens above and the oceans below inspire her resin pieces, which she then translates into abstract designs. They are peaceful and personal and allow the viewer to stare deeper and deeper into each resin layer. Claire’s acrylic works are playful and full of life. As a young mother of four she has learnt to let go of perfectionism and to express her inner child through the use of joyful colours. After brain surgery in 2015, she found healing through art and therefore deliberately paints with the intention to bring healing to the viewer. Claire is a Christian and her art is designed to bring a stillness of soul.
