Walking to Coolum

Peregian Beach is a favourite of mine; it is a beautiful beach, but it is also a wonderful place to people watch: families with small children building sandcastles, fishermen, dog walkers, sun bathers…  This snapshot of beach life foregrounds a group of four young people walking in the shallows, the sky and their reflections captured in the wet sand.  The predominant colour is blue, a soothing, calming colour.  If you pause and listen, you will hear their laughter above the rhythmic roar of the waves.
