There’s something very nostalgic about vintage enamel crockery. It evokes the sense of a Grandparent’s kitchen in the country. When you come over to visit, there might be scones or Anzac biscuits. (or maybe just a packet of Arnott’s milk arrowroot if they’ve been busy) On the table, a Women’s Weekly cookbook with stained pages.
The afternoon light slants in through their farmhouse windows lighting up the onions, soon to be used to make a stew.
