Did you know that a Tussie-Mussie is a small flower arrangement of fragrant herbs and blooms which became popular in Victorian times?
….Anyway…..
This painting is not a history lesson – but rather my 2022, Australian take on it. It’s big, it’s bright and captures a sense of energy and movement that I love. While it is a warm palette, I find the contrasting teal and turquoise just ‘sing’ against my favourite navy – Prussian Blue.
