Description

This painting was originally inspired by an interview with an aging artist which I heard on our local radio broadcast. She was describing the heady days of the 1970’s alternative sub-culture. She remembered being at a party back then and someone offering her hallucinogenic drugs, saying: ‘Here, try this. You’ll see cartoons jumping out of the wall.’ She went on to say that the big take-away from that experience was the insight that ‘Everything is Alive. Everything.’
