An African wildcat – a cheetah, racing at its top speed of 113 km/hour (70 miles/hour). I created the original artwork with acrylic paints on stretched canvas. The cheetah is one of Africa’s most successful predators in such a chase. This wildcat was a wonderful challenge to paint, with its remarkable banded tail almost doubling the length of its body.
