Number SIX in the “ON the BOX” series and a bit of a departure here. I was starting to experiment by now and the big glass container was actually our family’s, and it WAS filled with seashells we had collected. The three shapes you see are actual shells and with the use of the airbrush they were a great organic stencil. The folds on the cloth mimic the pattern that was on the cockle shell.
It’s all relevant and there is a very distinct geometric thing happening here as well.
