Sterling

Description

Sterling is a mixed media painting done on a stretched canvas. This was a painting that resulted from me attending an amazing local artist’s workshop on mixed media, the very talented Rosemary Payne, a few weeks prior which was so much fun and very freeing! I had been following ‘Sterling’s Journey’ on Facebook and was very taken with his story and his Mum would post lovely photos of the old boy and she gave me permission to paint him… and here is the result… he really is a stunning old gentleman!
