In this painting of Rory I wanted to show his deep concentration but also something melancholic about him. He was a deep thinker who read avidly. I have got lost in his music on many an occasion, getting goosebumps watching his A Million Miles Away Irish Tour 1974 video. I managed to get this painting photographed before it sold, a tribute to his incredible talent as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. A Limited Edition of 100 only.
