While painting the house, the folds in the heavy drop sheets captured such a wonderful, grounded sense of light, and, that when my daughter sat to read there I saw a painting emerge immediately. Delicate brushwork and careful proportions draw the viewer into this secret moment.
The beauty to be found in ordinary, even mundane elements of life, is extraordinary. One just needs eyes to see.
