And for fun camping trips as well. They have a strong connection to the country too from a time when there was no electricity supplied to remote farms.

I thought the lantern deserved all of the attention here so I put a very plain base to this piece. What do you think? Let me know your thoughts. The beauty of oil paintings is things can be changed relatively easily. I do like the clean lines though and something a little different without leaving those country realism values I love so much.
