Morning, Mist, Mangroves

I was out for an early morning walk and went down to the waterside at Corroboree Park. I took a reference photo with my phone before the light could change. Corroboree Park is near my house on Macleay Island. When I stood on the bank and saw the mist on the distant trees and the reflection of the mangroves on Hogget Island; I knew I had to paint it. Until I named Hogget Island – it had no name – because it was to small. It’s called Hogget because it’s near Lamb Island.
