This artwork was inspired by the feeling of finding stillness in nature. Stacked river stones form the focal point of the piece, symbolising balance, patience, and the steady process of building a life one moment at a time.
Surrounding the stones are leaves, seeds, flowing water, and intricate patterns that echo the interconnected rhythms found throughout the natural world. Each element exists in harmony with the others, creating a sense of peace and quiet movement.
The flowing blues at the base of the artwork represent water as a source of renewal and continuity, while the layered organic forms reflect growth, resilience, and the beauty that emerges when we slow down enough to notice the details.
For me, this piece is a reminder that balance is not something we find once and keep forever. It is something we create and recreate through the choices we make each day. Like the carefully stacked stones, strength often comes from patience, presence, and trust in the process.
