This image is looking up Lucas Passage between Macleay and Lamb Islands. You can see North Stradbroke in the distance. The way the clouds were gathering and their reflection on the bay was exciting. This is the first in a series of six landscapes looking at Lamb, Macleay, Russel, North Stradbroke and Karragarra Islands. The water is important to everyone who lives on these islands. I find the colours in the water and sky in the early morning and afternoon as so inspirational.
