This piece emerged without a fixed destination, unfolding organically as each mark guided the next. Like life itself, it became a collection of interconnected pathways, moments, and experiences woven together into a single story.
A flowing river moves through the centre of the work, symbolising movement, change, and the journey of becoming. Around it, botanical forms, shells, pools of water, and intricate patterns intertwine, representing growth, resilience, memory, and our connection to the natural world.
Each section holds its own rhythm and energy, yet nothing exists in isolation. The artwork reflects the way our lives are shaped by countless influences—relationships, experiences, emotions, and the environments we move through. What may appear chaotic at first begins to reveal an underlying harmony as the eye travels across the piece.
For me, this artwork is a reminder that we are not defined by a single moment, but by the many layers that make us who we are. Every twist, turn, and unexpected path becomes part of the larger landscape of our lives.
