This is the passage between Karragarra and Russell Islands. I don’t know how it made its way into a series about Lamb, but you and see, by the colours, why I painted it. This painting was made from a reference photo taken while I was walking on Karragarra Island (opposite Lamb) with the Bay Island Hash House Harries.

This is the fifth in a series of six landscapes looking around, or at Lamb Island. Other islands shown in the distance are, Macleay, Russel, North Stradbroke and Karragarra. The water is important to everyone who lives on these islands. I find the colours in the water and sky in the early morning and afternoon as so inspirational.
