Description
In the late 1970s, an Australian news crew filmed an unknown object off the East Coast of Kaikoura, New Zealand. Curiosity led the artist to produce this work some forty years later. A single frame was used to create the mediated image seen.
For Kaikoura 1978 (light) people who have viewed the finished product have noted a resemblance to the New Zealand paua shell, with its intricate visual texture and delicate crossing over of colours.
This visualization offers a fascinating glimpse into the dynamic interaction between the object’s energy and the surrounding gas molecules, revealing a complex and intriguing phenomenon.
