This drawing is inspired by original origami designed and folded by Quentin Trollip. I've always been fascinated by large predatory mammals, given that we don't have any here in Australia, and I just love how this origami captures the imposing form of a grizzly bear rearing up and letting out a roar.

The original of this drawing was created using Unipin 0.1 – 0.3 mm felt tip pen on Arches rough grain 640 gsm watercolour paper. I like to use rough grain watercolour paper for my origami works as I feel it helps my works reflect some of the roughness of the rice paper used in the original reference origami.
