Description
Inspired by an early morning solitary drive in the outback, this piece captures the hush and expanse of a landscape veiled in morning fog, where the earth still dreams and the sky begins to sing.
The early sun casts its golden warmth across dry grasses and barely-there trees, while mist lingers like breath held between sleep and waking. Fence posts mark human presence, but they do not intrude; instead, they echo the rhythm of the road. I pause to soak in the moment. Then I spot the lone bird singing the first song of sunrise.
