Early Morning Lamb Island

I was sitting in Pioneer Park, on Lamb Island, waiting for the sun to come up and these colours emerged from the darkness. I liked the way the old jetty was silhouetted against the water and the way boats seem to glow in the dark. The clouds reflecting on the water were beautiful. This is the last in a series of six landscapes looking around, or at Lamb Island.

Other islands shown in the distance are, Macleay, Russel, North Stradbroke and Karragarra. The water is important to everyone who lives on these islands. I find the colours in the water and sky in the early morning and afternoon as so inspirational.
