Description

A dear, lifelong friend of mine lives in Rhodes. I was lucky enough to visit her in the off season, when the usually thronging beaches were peaceful and deserted.  Not a soul disrupted the peace of this beautiful, rocky cove.  On my travels, I have noticed that the colour of the sea changes depending on where in the world you are – have you noticed the waters of the Sunshine Coast are a clear azure, but those of North Queensland are a milky aqua?  Here in Rhodes, the water is a beautiful aqua and yet, the rocky steepness of the beach reminds us of Noosa.
