Description
The inspiration for this image came from a screenplay I was developing where one of the characters operated a cafe/art gallery in French Colonial North Africa.
Also I drew inspration after visiting my Ethiopian friends in Melbourne. Although Ethiopia was never colonised by the French, their unique method of preparing and consuming coffee is more of a ritual than just the quick on-the-go ‘coffee fix’ we are accustomed to in the West.
