Catherine is an award winning, Australian visual artist based in Meanjin, Brisbane. She embraces realism, infusing her work with vibrant hues that illuminate her detailed artworks. Inspired by the play of light in her scenes, one of Catherine’s primary aims is to provide an immersive and enjoyable experience for the viewer.
Catherine says, “I love hearing that my artworks have triggered a feeling of recognition or connection for the people that see them. This motivates me to continue creating paintings that celebrate the unique beauty of the Australian landscape and ultimately provide a sense of enjoyment and a temporary feeling of escape”.
